The experience lasts approximately 2 hours with plenty of interaction time with our alpacas.  We only have one experience a day, however it may be possible to alter the experience start time.  Contact us directly and we will advise.

Before you meet the alpacas there will be a quick health & safety briefing as well as sharing some alpaca facts with you.

We will then take you and introduce you to your alpacas.  You will have time to get to know them, feed them, and shown how to lead them.

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and will take you through woodland areas and along the beautiful River Ousel where there is plenty of wildlife to be seen, from Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Kites, to name just a few of the birds that nest in the woodland around us.  If you are lucky you may see some of our Mandarin Ducks, and maybe the odd swan swimming past.  There is also a family of muntjac deer which may be spotted.

As the woodland area may be rough and bumpy or muddy, it is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or walking aids.

The walk is not rushed and there are plenty of opportunities for photos to be taken of you and your alpaca.  We also reserve the right to take pictures to place on our Facebook site.  If you do not wish this to be done, please let us know.

At the end of the walk we return to the alpacas paddock where you can have further pictures taken to remind you of your experience.
